To provide an apparatus for turning over a container for a filler material in which the filler material is a loose article with a low tackiness, so that there exists no possibility of jumping out of the filler material from the container even if its rotating speed is increased, and such problems as breakage of the container and noises are not generated.
Two spindles 9 and 10 are inserted into and supported by a main rotating shaft 7 intermittently rotating so as to rotate on their own axes, and a pair of pinching members 16 and 17 are fitted on the spindles. A sliding shaft 12 is inserted through the supporting shaft, and the pinching members are opened and closed by an opening and closing cam 25 for the pinching member. The pinching members pinch the container at a pinching stopping position. The main rotating shaft is rotated, and the spindles are rotated therewith as well. A cam roller 36 on a cam lever 35 fitted on the supporting shaft is inserted into a cam channel 38 of the channel cam 37. The width of the cam channel is enlarged before and after a turning over stopping position, and when the cam roller is positioned there, the spindle rotates on its own axis. The pinching members are stopped at the turning over stopping position by a stopper mechanism 45 whose position is adjustable. The pinching members are opened in the way back to the pinching position, and an empty container is delivered to an empty container delivering apparatus.
