PURPOSE: To obtain an apparatus for weighing and filling powder which can securely manufacture capsules filled with a predetermined amount of contents and can be appropriately used for manufacturing sample capsules for clinical tests wherein troublesome tasks and complicated adjustment are not necessary, an amount of powder to be changed can be filled relatively easily and a large amount of excess medicine is not necessary even when small amount of capsules is to be produced.
CONSTITUTION: Instead of a weighing disk which intermittently rotates, a weighing plate 12 which linearly reciprocates is used, wherein while the weighing plate 12 is at one of moving limits, power is filled from a powder housing chamber 13 into a weighing hole 123 formed on that end. Then a tapping plunger 14 is used to pound the powder in the weighing hole 123 a predetermined number of times to make it hard without moving the weighing plate 12 in this state, so that the powder in the weighing hole 123 is made into a mold 171. Then the weighing plate 12 is moved, and at the other moving limit a charging plunger 15 is used to drop the powder mold 171 in the weighing hole 123 to below the weighing plate 12 to be fill into a capsule body B placed under the weighing plate 12.
