To provide a metallic sheet working apparatus with which a metallic sheet can be continuously formed into curved surfaces different in curvature radius; and to provide a method capable of efficiently and highly precisely manufacturing an aerofoil blade for windmills.
The metallic sheet working apparatus 1 is composed of: three rolls 2 arranged at vertexes of a triangle in a side view; a hydraulic press 3 which is a roll shifting means for supporting these three rolls 2 freely rotatably, a servomotor 4 which is a roll rotating means for rotationally driving the three rolls 2; and a controller 5 which is a controlling means for controlling the hydraulic press 3 and the servomotor 4. The metallic sheet working apparatus 1 is also provided with a back gauge 6 for measuring the intervals between the rear end part Ba of the metallic sheet B and the three rolls 2.
