PURPOSE: To strongly fix an opposite face engaging fastener member having a general shape to a main body in a main body molding process.

CONSTITUTION: An appendant member 10 is equipped with a main body 12 molded into a desired shape by the hot compression of a material and a fastener member 20 consisting of the base part 14 connected to the main body 12 and a plurality of the headed projections 18 vertically provided on the principal surface 16 of the base part 14. The fastener member 20 is strongly fixed to the main body 12 at a predetermined position by a hot-melt adhesive 28. The hot-melt adhesive 28 is arranged between the rear surface 26 of the base part 14 of the fastener member 20 and the surface of the main body 12 and softened or melted in the hot compression molding process of the main body 12 and infiltrated into the material of the main body 12 to strongly connect the base part 14 and the main body.
