Abstract:
To provide a method for treating and preventing liver disease comprising at least one kind of a substance selected from inositol, inositol monophosphate, inositol diphosphate, inositol triphosphate, inositol tetraphosphate, inositol pentaphosphate and their salts having an onset-inhibitory effect and curing effect of alcoholic liver disease and non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH) as an active ingredient, and also a food or feed containing the same.
The beverages, foods or feeds consisting of the above substances as active ingredients for preventing and treating the liver diseases have the onset-inhibitory effect and treating effect of the alcoholic liver disease and the NASH.
