Abstract:
To make it possible to utilize a redundancy mechanism on a system without modifying an existing application even when the application having no redundancy mechanism is used.SOLUTION: Independent application management units 10-1, 10-2 manage multiple pieces of application software 20-1, 20-2 having the same function, respectively, to simultaneously run as an active side ACT and a standby side SBY in the same state. The same request signal is given to the application software 20-1, 20-2, thereby maintaining the active-side ACT and the standby-side SBY in the same state. Only a response signal from one side is selected and output. When the active side ACT fails, the standby side SBY is switched to the active side ACT by switching IP address. Anomalies can be detected by comparing response signals from the application software 20-1, 20-2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
