Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an applicator for sanitary tampons which can accurately prevent mensural blood on it from fouling hands and clothing during the operation of sanitary tampons into vaginal canals.
SOLUTION: The applicator is provided with a cylindrical member 2 which has opening parts 22 and 24 at both longitudinal end parts while having a housing part 20 for the sanitary tampon inside and a push-out member 3 which is inserted into the opening part 24 of the cylindrical member 2 to push the tampon from behind and then, out of the opening part 22. The cylindrical member 2 has a flange part 4 that forms a mensural blood reservoir S between the cylindrical member 2 and the outer circumference thereof.
