PURPOSE: To provide the approval system for an electronic document, which can give an electronical approval by distributing electronic documents to superior officials, etc., in a state of being electronical as it is.

CONSTITUTION: For instance, a document prepared by a terminal equipment 2-1 is sent to a host computer 1 through a communication cable 3 and preserved therein. A user of a terminal equipment 2-2 calls the document preserved in the host computer 1, checks it on this terminal equipment 2-2, writes information for showing an approval in the document after executing a correction, etc., if necessary, and thereafter, sends back this document again to the host computer 1 through the communication cable 3, and preserves it in the host computer 1 thereby. Accordingly, the electronic document prepared by the terminal equipment 2-1 can receive electronically an approval stamp without being printed on paper.
