Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plasticizer-free aqueous adhesive containing a vinyl acetate resin-type emulsion and having excellent high-speed applicability.
SOLUTION: The adhesive contains a vinyl acetate resin-type emulsion and is plasticizer-free. The adhesive has a difference of the first normal stress at a shear rate of 1,000 (1/s) of 1,000 Pa (23°C) or lower. Preferably, the emulsion is obtained by polymerizing vinyl acetate in the presence of polyvinyl alcohol comprising a polyvinyl alcohol of a polymerization degree of 1,300 or higher with an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer emulsion as a seed.
