Abstract:
To provide an aqueous coating composition from which an obtained coating film has a good visual appearance and excellent flip-flop properties, and to provide a forming method of a multilayer coating film.
The aqueous coating composition comprises an aqueous resin dispersion obtained by aqueous solution-polymerizing a mixed monomer solution A having an acid value of 30-150 and a hydroxy number of 10-100 to produce an aqueous solution resin for an emulsion polymerization, and then emulsion- polymerizing another mixed monomer solution B having an acid value of the upper limit 20 and an hydroxy number of the upper limit 100 using the aqueous solution resin as a protective colloid to synthesize a core resin in the colloid, and a luster material.
