Title:
AQUEOUS COATING FOR FORMING PROTECTION LAYER OF FORGERY- PREVENTING LUMINESCENT CARD
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2001152052
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide an aqueous coating which can control the increase in the production cost for forming the protection layer and the complexity in printing processes and is useful for forming protection layers having excellent abrasion resistance, heat transfer suitability, emboss processing suitability and surface gloss on the surfaces of forgery-preventing luminescent cards such as magnetic cards, IC cards and rewritable cards.

This aqueous coating comprising an aqueous emulsion containing a UV light-curable acrylate as a main component, an aqueous emulsion containing a vinyl chloride copolymer-based thermoplastic resin as a main component, and a UV light emitter and/or an IR light emitter as essential components, and, if necessary, a lubricant and a viscosity-controlling agent.
