To provide an aqueous covering lubricant composition which is used for processing-resistant metals, can prevent the damages to the processing-resistant special alloy steel plates (high strengths, large spring back) such as titanium steel plates, stainless steel plates, galvanized sheet plates, and magnesium alloy steel plates, and can expand the drawing ranges of the processing-resistant metals.
This aqueous covering lubricant composition for processing-resistant metals comprises (a) an aqueous urethane resin prepared by dispersing a non-reactive, self-emulsifying urethane resin in water substantially without using an emulsifier, (b) fluororesin fine particles or a dispersion prepared by preliminarily dispersing the fine particles in water with a dispersant, (c) a cellosolve compound such as methylcellosolve, ethylcellosolve, butylcellosolve, methylcellosolve acetate, ethylcellosolve acetate or butylcellosolve acetate, or a silicone-based nonionic surfactant, and (d) an alcohol. The resin components are contained in an amount of 6 to 35 wt. % based on the total weight of the composition.
