Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an aqueous coating material composition excellent in preservation stability, capable of forming a membrane excellent in hardness, waterproofness and filth resistance.
SOLUTION: This aqueous coating material composition contains an emulsion of (I) a graft block copolymer consisting of (A) a polymer block having dimethylsiloxane as a repeating unit, (B) a polymer block having a vinyl polymerizable monomer as a repeating unit and (C) a graft crossing unit containing silicon copolymerized with (A) the polymer block and (B) the polymer block and (II) a colloidal silica, and consists of 1-300 pts.wt. content of the solid portion of the component (II) based on 100 pts.wt. that of the component (I).
