This composite resin composition aqueous dispersion for a pressure-sensitive adhesive is produced by polymerizing a mixture of the total monomer of 100 pts.wt. that contains an alkyl (meth)acrylate (a) of a 1-14C alkyl group of 70-99.8 wt.%, a hydroxyalkyl (meth)acrylate (b) of a 1-8C alkyl chain of 0.1-15 wt.% and a copolymerizable monomer (c) of 0.1-15 wt.% except (a) and (b), and a solid resin (d) having a softening point of 85C of 0.5-50 pts.wt. in an aqueous medium containing a surfactant (e) as an essential component.
