Abstract:
To provide an aqueous dispersion that finely and stably contains polyphenylene ether resin in aqueous medium and forms a coating layer to exhibit a variety of excellent properties.SOLUTION: An aqueous dispersion contains a polyphenylene ether resin containing an unsaturated carboxylic acid component, and aqueous medium. The polyphenylene ether resin has an acid value of 1-150 mgKOH/g. The aqueous dispersion preferably has a basic compound.
