Abstract:
To obtain an adhesive without containing a plasticizer or an organic solvent both having a high volatility, having a low film-forming temperature, a good fluidity and a sufficient initial adhering property.
This aqueous emulsion-based adhesive contains the following (A) component. The (A) component is a vinyl acetate-based polymer having ≤20°C lowest film-forming temperature, and is obtained by polymerizing a monomer consisting mainly of vinyl acetate in the presence of an ethylene-a vinyl carboxylic acid ester copolymer having prescribed characteristics, in an amount of 1-10 folds based on that of the ethylene-vinyl carboxylic acid ester copolymer.
