Title:
AQUEOUS EMULSION OF FILM-FORMING POLYMER PARTICLE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2993575
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a preparation method of a floor polish high in resistance to washing with a detergent, easily removable with a stripper and having no environmental problems accompanied with the metal used for the latent metal crosslinking and volatile amines.
CONSTITUTION: A desired aqueous emulsion is an aqueous emulsion of film- forming polymer particles having polymer functionalities of an acid, an amine, etc., which mutually act with a chemical lubricant and the polymer particles are covalently crosslinked with a polyfunctional monomer or reagent prior to film formation to such an extent as to effectively prevent the adhesion among the polymer particles during film formation and in addition, the obtained film is removable with a stripper containing a lubricant for the polymer functionalities, and the aqueous emulsion is metal-free.
