Abstract:

To obtain the subject ink containing a hylauronic acid alkali metal salt, capable of preventing the discoloration and elimination of handwritings, after written on heat-sensitive paper or pressure-sensitive paper, capable of realizing proper pen tip-drying resistance, and useful as an ink for check writing tools.

This aqueous fluorescent ink comprises at least (A) a fluorescent pigment produced by coloring resin particles, e.g. by coloring resin particles having a particle diameter of 0.05-0.3μm with a direct, acid, basic disperse or oil-soluble dye, (B) an alkali metal hyaluronate (concretely lithium hyaluronate, sodium hyaluronate, potassium hyaluronate, etc.,), and (C) water. The components A and B are contained in amounts of 1-50wt.% and 0.5-20wt.%, respectively, based on the whole amount of the ink.
