Abstract:
To propose an aqueous foamable fireproof coating composition excellent in both of water proofness of a coated film in a normal period and fire proofness of an expanded coated film generated in a fire disaster.SOLUTION: The aqueous foamable fireproof coating composition includes: a polyvalent metal compound (A) containing a metal element which can take an ion atomic valence of bivalent or more; a resin (B) having a functional group capable of forming a metal cross linking with the metal element containing the polyvalent metal compound; a char-forming auxiliary material (C); and water. A method of coating a substrate includes coating a substrate surface with the aqueous foamable fireproof coating composition. A method of protecting a structure from heat and a fire disaster includes coating a substrate surface with the aqueous foamable fireproof coating composition.SELECTED DRAWING: None
