To provide an aqueous gravure printing device free from the generation of a fog in printed matter, in a gravure printing device using an aqueous ink which complies with a fire defense law and valid regulations and is advantageous for environment conservation by VOC regulations and the like.
The aqueous gravure printing device 1 comprises a doctor blade 14 which scrapes a surplus aqueous ink 6 from the plate surface 10a of a gravure printing plate cylinder 10, and an impression cylinder 12 which transfers the aqueous ink left unscraped in a cell by pressing a base material 5 to be printed sequentially. They are arranged in a rotating direction P on the printing surface 10a. In this device 1, a plurality of air nozzles 22 for blowing air to the plate surface 10a between the doctor blade 14 and the impression cylinder 12 are arranged side by side with the doctor blade 14.
