Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aqueous ink which reduces mist generated when recording images on both sides of a recording medium.SOLUTION: The aqueous ink contains a colorant, polymer particles, water, and an aqueous organic solvent. The surface resistivity of a film obtained by depositing the aqueous ink on a glass plate is 1×10Ω/sq. or less. The polymer particles contain a polymer compound having an acid value of 10 mg KOH/g or more. The polymer particles also contain a polymer compound having at least one of a sulfonic acid group and a carboxylic acid group. The polymer compounds are polyester or polyurethane.SELECTED DRAWING: None
