Abstract:

To provide a resin dispersion which can form a membrane that is excellent in weather resistance, water resistance, and soil resistance for a long time; and a method for producing the same.

The water dispersion comprises a copolymer dispersed in an aqueous medium, wherein the copolymer has constituent monomer units consisting of (A) an ethylenically unsaturated monomer having a maleimido group, (B) a condensation product between an ethylenically unsaturated monomer having a hydrolyzable silyl group and a silane compound, and (C) the other ethylenically unsaturated monomer.
