Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aqueous slurry containing porous particles (carbon material) having a large specific surface area in which the particles are highly dispersed.SOLUTION: There is provided an aqueous slurry which comprises: a dispersant composed of a polymer composition obtained by mixing a second neutralizer consisting of an alkali metal hydroxide with a mixture of a composition containing a copolymer of an α-olefin and an unsaturated dibasic acid and water and a first neutralizer consisting of an amine-based neutralizer; a carbon material having a specific surface area of 500 to 2650 m/g; and an aqueous medium, where the carbon material preferably is ketchen black.
