Abstract:
To provide a polymer suitably used for the preparation of a film-like or sheet-like epoxy resin composition or epoxy resin cured product that features high heat resistance, high thermoconductivity, low thermal expandability and high toughness.SOLUTION: An aromatic ketone-type polymer has a unit represented by general formula (1) (where R1, R2 independently represent a hydrogen atom, a C1-8 alkyl group, an aryl group, an alkoxy group, an aralkyl group or a halogen atom, n is a number selected from 1-3), the proportion of the unit being 10-100 mol%. The aromatic ketone-type polymer has a weight average molecular weight of 5,000 or more and has crystallinity. There is also provided a method for producing the same.SELECTED DRAWING: None
