Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an aromatic vinyl resin composition improved in melt flow characteristics, moldability and transparency without detriment to heat resistance, strength and rigidity by adding a rosin compound and/or a rosin ester compound to an aromatic vinyl resin.
SOLUTION: This composition consists of an aromatic vinyl resin, and a rosin compound and/or a rosin ester compound. The rosin compound used preferably comprises a purified and stabilized rosin. The rosin ester compound used comprises preferably an ester formed from a rosin compound and an aromatic alcohol compound and/or epoxy compound, more preferably an ester of a purified and stabilized rosin.
