PURPOSE: To prevent a switch operation part which is installed at the entrance frame of an elevator from being accidentally touched or hit by luggage, or the like.

CONSTITUTION: The switch operating part 1 of an elevator driving device which lifts up or down an elevator car is disposed on the hard frame part 21 of an entrance frame 2 which is inclined and whose frontal part extends outward so that outside operation from the frontal side of an elevator 100 may become possible. With this constitution, the switch operation part 1 is disposed on an outer side than a door opening part 4 where an elevator door 3 is disposed, and a deeper side than the finish surface 51a of a wall finishing material 51 which is the frontal side surface of a wall part 5. Therefore, it is possible to prevent unintended incidents, such as accidentally operating the elevator or breaking the switch operating part.
