To provide an array antenna device excellent in reducing power consumption and coping with downsizing by solving problems including an occupied area of a balun and insertion loss of a balun.
The array antenna device comprises a differential circuit provided with two input and output terminals having a phase difference of 180 degrees, and two antenna elements or two groups of antenna elements respectively connected with the two input and output terminals of the differential circuit via transmission lines. The array antenna device is configured such that, assuming a phase difference in the transmission lines is θ1 and a phase difference generated by varying orientations of the two or two groups of antenna elements from each other is θ2, a phase difference of transmission waves propagated from the two input and output terminals becomes zero depending on a combination of the phase difference θ1 and/or the phase difference θ2.
