Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reduce side lobes over a wide angle range by fitting subordinate antennas to the circumference of a main antenna, and making the main radiation directions of the subordinate antennas different.
CONSTITUTION: Systems each consisting of two horn antennas 3a∼3d, a phase shifter 6, and an amplitude adjusting device 5 are used in combination with a main antenna 2 to constitute an array antenna device, and the slanting angles of the horn antennas of those systems are made different. Thus, side-lobe cancelers which nearly have slanting angles are obtained.
