To provide an array antenna system and an antenna arrangement method by which the directivity can be reduced to realize a uniform radio communication state within a specific range.
Loop antennas 1a, 1b are different from a position of a feeding point 5 on an outer conductive loop 3 and the feeding points 5 of them are placed at positions at an angular distance of 90°. That is, a direction of a maximum electric field of the loop antenna 1a is the direction of the X axis, while a direction of a maximum electric field of the loop antenna 1b is the direction of the Y axis. The antenna system 1 consists of the two kinds of the loop antennas 1a, 1b that are alternately arranged adjacent to each other. Thus, the electric field strength in the X and Y axes of the entire array antenna system 1 is uniformized.
