Abstract:
To enhance extensibility by suppressing lowering of data write speed in mirroring.
A disk array controller 20 converts write data into an optical signal by a light emitting device 110 after storing the write data in a cache memory and transmits the optical signal to an optical bus 30. Signal light inputted in the optical bus 30 is broadcast transmitted by the optical bus 30 and simultaneously read in disk drives 40, 41 via a light receiving device. Thus, the lowering of data write speed in the mirroring is suppressed and the extensibility is enhanced.
