Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an array waveguide which allows for high density and high integration of a transmission circuit capable of transmitting electromagnetic waves of terahertz band.SOLUTION: In an array waveguide 100, a plurality of stripe resin insulating layers 2 and a plurality of stripe conductive adhesive layers 3 are formed to extend in a Y direction, respectively. The plurality of stripe resin insulating layers 2 and the plurality of stripe conductive adhesive layers 3 are arranged alternately in an X direction crossing the Y direction. In a Z direction crossing an XY plane, the plurality of stripe resin insulating layers 2 and the plurality of stripe conductive adhesive layers 3 are sandwiched by a first conductor layer 10 and a second conductor layer 20. Each resin insulating layer 2 is surrounded by two conductive adhesive layers 3, the first conductor layer 10 and the second conductor layer 20. Consequently, a plurality of waveguides WG are formed, respectively, by the plurality of resin insulating layers 2.
