Abstract:
To provide an article alignment device in which the total length of a conveyor is short and which does not need to use a swing guide complex in structure.SOLUTION: Gripping heads 27 and 28 grip a plurality of containers C conveyed on feed conveyors 21 and 22, and transfer the containers to alignment conveyors 23 and 24. The gripping heads 27 and 28 repeat a first operation for gripping a prescribed number of containers C on the feed conveyors 21 and 22 together and transferring the containers so as to be continuous to a prescribed container row among a plurality of container rows conveyed on the alignment conveyors 23 and 24, and a second operation for gripping a prescribed number of containers C on the feed conveyors 23 and 24 together and transferring the containers so as to be continuous to a container row adjacent to the container row transferred to the alignment conveyors 23 and 24 through the first operation on a side where the feed conveyors 21 and 22 are arranged.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
