To provide an article attachment structure improving manufacturing work efficiency.
A weatherstrip 6 is provided with a substantially tabular mounting base 11 attached with a clip 21, and a seal portion 12 extending from the mounting base 11, and is attached to a mounted portion 8 through the clip 21. The clip 21 is provided with an engagement portion 31 fitted into and engaged with a mounting hole 9 formed in the mounted portion 8, and a locking portion 41 locked to the mounting base 11. The locking portion 41 is provided with an elongated locking piece portion 42, and a connection portion 43 connecting the longitudinal intermediate portion of the locking piece portion 42 to the engagement portion 31. The tip end of an insertion pin 51 penetrates through the mounting base 11 by using an insertion means provided with the substantially cylindrical sharp insertion pin 51, and the locking piece portion 42 is delivered from the tip end of the insertion pin 51 through the inner peripheral side of the insertion pin 51. Thereby, the clip 21 is attached to the mounting base 11.
