PURPOSE: To take out an article from the inner part of a shelf by movably mounting a slider having a pressing plate pulled by a belt between rows of rollers, and at time of taking out, by drawing out the pressing plate by a fork through a chain driving drawing out the pressing plate by a fork through a chain driving device.

CONSTITUTION: A frame 4 of a rack is provided with a rail 1 comprising channel steels 3 and rollers 2. A guide rail 5 for a slider 8 having a pressing plate 7 is disposed intermediate between a pair of rails. The pressing plate is pulled by a belt 10 rolled round a drum 9. Since the drum is driven by a pair of endless chains 15 moved by movement of a coulisse-like fork holder 18 pushed by a fork of a fork lift, any particular driving device is not required so as to take out a load easily and assuredly.
