Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conveyance device attached with retainers, having a weight-based tension mechanism, and when an abnormality occurs the conveyance device can detect an abnormality quicker than ever, and stop the conveyance device quickly.SOLUTION: A conveyance device comprises: multiple retainers disposed on an endless type conveyance chain; and a driven sprocket which is driven by a drive sprocket, and which has a weight-based auto-tension mechanism to be used for a method to detect a change in a position of a weight in the weight-based auto-tension mechanism for actions including stopping the conveyance device to control an operation thereof.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
