Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cope with the case that articles temporarily exceeding the processing capacity are fed at random in alignment and interval and to discharge defective articles to the outside of a system.
SOLUTION: This article feeding device is provided with a CCD camera 14 photographing the articles conveyed on a multi-line conveying conveyor 11, a picking robot 18 having four picking arms 19A, 19B, 19C, 19D on the downstream side of the CCD camera 14, buffer conveyors 20A, 20B, 20C, 20D storing multiple articles on standby in response to the picking arms 19A, 19B, 19C, 19D, feed kicking conveyors 21A, 21B, 21C, 21D feeding the articles to a transfer conveyor 13 in response to the buffer conveyors 20A, 20B, 20C, 20D. An article supplying conveyor 32 and a supply kicking conveyor 33 are arranged on the article transfer passage of the transfer conveyor 13.
