An aligning means 4 is provided with an outer hollow shaft 31 freely rotatably provided in a housing 8, an inner hollow shaft 32 which is freely rotatably provided off the rotation center of the outer hollow shaft on the inside of the outer hollow shaft, and a center shaft 33 freely rotatably provided off the rotation center of the inner hollow shaft on the inside of the inner hollow shaft, and the center shaft is provided with a grasping means 3 for grasping a ferrule as an article. A rotating mechanism 34 rotates the inner hollow shaft and the center shaft to align the center of each of articles different by diameters, which is grasped by the grasping means, with the rotation center of the outer hollow shaft and rotates the outer hollow shaft to rotate the article grasped by the grasping means while aligning the center of the article with the rotation center of the outer hollow shaft.
