Abstract:
To provide an article information reader capable of easily, collectively, and without omission reading identification information of each of many RF tagged articles placed in a disorder fashion on a delivery platform.SOLUTION: An article information reader 10 reads identification information registered to an RF tag of the article by radiating radio wave to many RF tagged articles placed on a wagon 6 from an antenna 2, and includes a rectangular shaped reading chamber 1 and many antennas 2 arranged on an upper wall 11, lower wall 12, right side wall 13, and left side wall 14 of the reading chamber 1. The antennas 2 arranged on the upper wall 11 and the antennas 2 arranged on the lower wall 12 include at least antennas 2 arranged in a positional relation not facing each other in a vertical direction, and the antennas 2 arranged on the right side wall 13 and the antennas 2 arranged on the left side wall 14 include at least antennas 2 arranged in a positional relation not facing each other in a lateral direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
