To provide an arranged flower-like plant for appreciation and ornamental use, which uses a natural plant body and having a storage stability for a long time and emitting flower like fragrance, without changing shape and feeling of the natural plant which has been hard to be realized by conventional techniques for preparation of a dry flower.
The plant body emitting arranged flower like fragrance for a long time and having long time storage stability, is obtained by drying a plant, soaking the plant in a solution comprising a fatty acid ester or a hydrocarbon or their mixture, absorbing the solution on the surface of the plant and then coating the surface with a hydrophobic resin. The plant body emits the fragrance by coating the surface of the plant body with micro capsules encapsulating fragrant materials.
