Abstract:
To provide an article separation device capable of separating articles one by one even when articles different in thickness are stacked.SOLUTION: An article separation device separates containers stacked in multistage on a lifter 12 one by one from above. The lifter 12 lifts the stacked containers until a sensor 32 detects that an uppermost container C1 reaches a predetermined height. The lifter 12 holds and lifts the uppermost container C1 located at the predetermined height by a lifting device. An article support device is moved from a retreat position where the device does not interfere with the container-to-be-lifted C1 to a receiving position above the stacked containers and below the lifted container C1 lifted by the lifting device. A container C1 placed on the article support device is sent out to the side by a delivery device.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
