Abstract:
To provide an article storage apparatus and an article storage system which can use a post-office box service without connecting to a network.SOLUTION: A locker device 1 includes an operation display unit 21 which displays a delivery code DC based on an input operation of a predetermined post-office box number and receives, as input, a random code included in the delivery code DC. The locker device 1 includes a control unit 28 which is configured to allocate, when the post-office box number has been registered and the input random code is authentic, a vacant locker box 32 out of a plurality of locker boxes 32, as a locker box 32 corresponding to the post-office box number, and unlock the locker box 32. The control unit 28 registers the allocated locker box 32 in association with the post-office box number.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
