Abstract:
To provide an article storage system and an article storage method for carrying out storage and delivery under an unmanned state.SOLUTION: An article storage system comprises: a conveyor rail 110; a conveyor rack 120 which has first to n-th (n is a natural number) openings for hanging a hanger 500 for holding an article and is movable along the conveyor rail 110; a first sensor 130 which reads k-th identification information marked the hanger 500 hung to the k-th opening (1≤k≤n) among the first to k-th openings; and a control device 140 which stores the k-th opening and the k-th identification information in association with each other. Further, the article storage system includes a second sensor for reading user identification information, and moves the conveyor rack 120 such that, if the user identification information matches the k-th identification information stored in the control device 140, the k-th opening stops at a second position of the conveyor rail 110.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
