This article supply device 10 has a flexible carrying sheet 11 and a plurality of sheet support members 12-16. The plurality of sheet support members 12-16 include a first sheet support member 14 constituted so that a sheet support part can move between a lower standby position and an upper high inclination forming position and a second sheet support member 15 arranged adjacent to its downstream side. In the carrying sheet 11, a part up to the second sheet support member 15 from the first sheet support member 14 is constituted in a first carrying area 11b, and a downstream side part from the second sheet support member 15 is constituted in a second carrying area 11c, respectively. When the sheet support part of the first sheet support member 14 is positioned in the high inclination forming position, an inclination of the first carrying area 11b is constituted so as to become larger than an inclination of the second carrying area 11c.
