Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article with an overturn prevention device which can apply an overturn prevention function to an article itself and which can reduce a workload and management burden upon its application.SOLUTION: A piece of furniture 1 include: a furniture body 20 which is arranged between an installation surface Fr and a ceiling C upon the installation; and a contact member 30 which is arranged between the ceiling C and the furniture body 20 upon the installation. Further, the furniture 1 is equipped with an operation part 5 having a damper 10 which has an end on one side connected to the furniture body 20, and an end on the other side connected to a contact member 30. The operation part 5 works such that, when the contact member 30 is arranged at an initial position closer to the furniture body 20 side, the damper 10 is in a contraction state and that, due to extension of the damper 10, the damper moves the contact member 30 from the initial position to a developed position upwardly away from the furniture body 20, bringing it into contact with the ceiling C.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
