To connect ships to each other in such a manner as to form a passage between ships surrounded with different external pressure by providing a ship having an opening part on one side with a first hollow wedge-like segment, and providing a second hollow wedge-like segment which is rotatable with respect to the first wedge-like segment.
An articulated pressurized passage 2 is formed by a combination tube and a flange 4, and connected to the top of a hollow upper wedge-like segment 10 by a first rotary bearing and a seal 6. The base of the hollow upper wedge-like segment 10 is rotatably connected to the top of a lower hollow wedge-like segment 14 by a lower rotary bearing and a seal 16. The circular base of a hollow lower wedge-like segment 14 has a circular sealing gasket 18 in its periphery. Thus, even under unconformity conditions of a wide range, articulated motion can be made to provide a combined flange surface parallel to a target combined flange surface so as to connect ships to each other surrounded with different pressure.
