Abstract:

To provide a single-stage articulation mechanism for an automobile seat.

This articulation mechanism includes: a first end plate 10; a second end plate 20 suitabel for the first end plate 10 to rotate around a main rotating shaft Y; a plurality of locking elements 11, 12, 13 at least including a first locking element 11 and a second locking element 12 moved between active and inactive positions; and a cam 30 moving between locking and unlocking positions, wherein in the locking position, the cam holds the locking elements 11, 12, 13 in the active position, in the unlocking position, the cam holds the second locking element 12 in the inactive position, and the mechanism further includes a guide element capable of rotatably guiding the locking elements 11, 12, 13, respectively, and a bearing surface 26 prevents the first locking element 11 and permits the second locking elements 12 to be in the active position in a range of angular tilting position.
