Abstract:
PURPOSE: To accurately correct malocclusion by moving the upper supporter for a lower jaw model left and right or to and for with respect to the lower supporter for the lower jaw model by a predetermined dimension to tightly clamp the same through a nut,
CONSTITUTION: When a lower jaw model is moved to the left, at first, the supporter (b) for the lower jaw model is fixed by a lower screw lever 13 and the nut 37 of an upper screw lever 13 is loosened and the upper supporter for the lower jaw model is moved while looking the right-hand graduation line 19 provided on the surface of the lower supporter for the lower jaw model. Both side nuts 37 are clamped to fix the upper supporter. When the upper supporter is moved as mentioned above, the lower jaw model fixed to the upper supporter is proportionally moved to the left. When the lower jaw model is inclined, the left-hand and right-hand nuts 37 of the upper screw lever 13 are clamped in order to incline the supporter (b) for the lower jaw model to the left to fix the upper and lower supporters. The lower screw lever 13 is loosened after fixing to move the graduation line 19 provide on a ball member 20 to the left.
