Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject culture medium enabling mushroom to be harvested in high yield, and to provide a method for artificial culture of mushroom using the above medium.
SOLUTION: This artificial culture medium is such one as to contain, based on 100 pts.wt. of the whole medium, 0.01-15 pts.wt. of slag powder ≤100 μm in average particle size (and 0.01-15 pts.wt. of a sulfate). This artificial culture medium to be used is obtained by mixing a base material such as sawdust, chaffs, corncob, bagasse, pulp waste materials, beet tailings, and/or starch tailings with one or more kinds of nutrient such as rice bran, corn rice cake ground product or the like; wherein it is more preferable that the amount of the nutrient(s) to be used is 10-150 pts.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. of the sawdust, in view of affording mushroom in high yield.
