The artificial nail resin softener is provided with a finger stall (1) having an open end (5) formed at its one end (3) and a closed end (6) formed at the other end (4); and a solvent absorber (2) fixed to the closed end (6) of the finger stall (1) and housed in the finger stall (1) with a length shorter than the finger stall (1). The finger stall (1) is formed of flexible and air-tight material in the shape of a bag of a size to which the tip of one human finger can be inserted. The solvent absorber (2) contacts the artificial nail (7) fixed to the nail at the finger tip inserted to the finger stall (1). When inserting a single finger with the artificial nail (7) fitted thereon into the finger stall (1) to make the artificial nail (7) to contact with the solvent absorber (2), resin forming the artificial nail (7) is dissolved or softened with the solvent to remove the artificial nail (7) from the nail at the finger tip in a comparatively a short time.
