To provide an aseismic structure for an opening of a wooden building which has a simplified structure for preventing the width and the height of the opening from being reduced by adding reinforcing members thereto.

The aseismic structure for the opening of the wooden building comprises a base 1a, a pair of columns 21, 22 erected on the base 1a, and a horizontal member 3 laid across side faces 21a, 22a which face to each other at the upper part of each column 21, 22, where the dimension of the horizontal member 3 in the height direction is twice or longer the width dimension in the horizontal direction.
